WTF - Did you take the summer off?

Sorry for the pause in blogging. Stattleship has been incredibly busy preparing for the 2016-2017 NFL season and chasing down lots of different opportunities with Major League Baseball sponsors. We did some really cool work for Franklin Sports and Adidas.

In the coming weeks, we'll launch our new website to showcase some of the work we've been doing on the backend to make it easier for our 1,500+ API registered users to get the sports stats they want and build awesome new sports apps.

This summer, we incorporated Sportradar's data feed into our platform. It is now the primary data source powering the Stattleship service. With this data, we've started to track best hitters of the night, fastest pitchers, and other sorts of fun fan facts. To get some of this data into the wild, we've partnered with our friends at Starters and launched an automated twitter feed. It is a great place for us to experiment and build an audience with our technology. Here's a quick example:

We've also been working hard to get The NY Jets ready for the regular season. We've been working with their social team to design stats and content they can use before, during, and after the game. This is kind of a big deal for The Jets and other NFL teams who know their audience is shifting to social media. September 15th is the first game Twitter is streaming, and The Jets are in the spotlight. Should be fun. Here's an example of some of the stuff we've helped them publish this pre-season.
